The 2017 Toyota Aygo is powered by a 1.0 L 1KR-FE straight-3 piston engine with compression ratio of 10.5:1. Its output measures 71 horsepower and 69 pound-feet of torque. The three-door car can be paired with five-speed manual transmission, while for 5-door version the customer can choose between five-speed manual or X-Shift automated manual transmission with paddle shift.The engine has enhanced breathability and decreased internal friction. Furthermore, Toyota’s engineers promise it has reduced CO2 emissions, the current car can have CO2 levels as low as 99 g/km. Also, the fuel economy is improved and should beat the current number which stands at 62.8 miles per gallon.

The new Toyota Aygo is most likely to go on sales at the end of 2016. The starting price is around $12,150.
